Our passion for quality is driven by Dr. Jacob Mong. His belief in treating patients as an entire person helped form the culture of care here at Vision Quest. From helping identify symptoms, to developing treatment plans and performing surgeries, Dr. Mong works side by side with his patients. He spent his childhood on a farm right here in the Treasure Valley before heading off to Michigan to attend medical school. Ultimately Dr. Mong returned home, eager to help his friends and neighbors gain a new lease on life through improved vision.

Vision Quest recently welcomed Dr. Landon Grange to the team! He’s thrilled to be helping residents of his home town. Dr. Grange graduated from Boise State University before attending medical school at the University of California in San Diego. Fluent in Spanish, he hopes to bring a brighter, clearer future to even more people in the valley. Dr. Grange believes in using the most advanced technology while treating patients with warm, personal care.

Meet Dr. Gary R. Pabalis, one of the valley’s most trusted names in eye care. His rich professional history includes providing over 30 years of care to the Native American community. Dr. Pabalis has never lost his passion for helping his patients reach their vision goals, even after all these years. His commitment to care and years of experience make him one of the top optometrist in the Treasure Valley.

Specializing in multiple complex eye conditions, Dr. Stephen Reinschmidt graduated from the Pacific University of Oregon before joining us at Vision Quest. Our expert in pre and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgery, Dr. Reinschmidt ensures our patients have the best possible experience at every step on their journey to clearer vision. He believes the best way to encourage a positive recovery from LASIK and cataract surgery is through educating patients.
