Dr. Reinschmidt grew up right here in Idaho, starting in Mountain Home! He later attended the College of Idaho, where he graduated with honors. From there he moved on to Pacific University of Oregon’s Optometry School. He graduated with distinction in primary care optometry, with an additional focus on ocular disease management.

We were thrilled to add Dr. Reinschmidt to our team of caring, dedicated vision experts. His patient education centered approach to eye care fits perfectly into Vision Quest’s values. Dr. Reinschmidt ensures every patient understands their procedure, and works with them closely to provide a customized care plan to meet their vision goals.

With extensive training covering all aspects of primary care optometry, he handles pre and post-operative consultations for cataracts, LASIK, and other refractive surgeries. Dr. Reinschmidt also specializes in multiple complex eye conditions including managing anterior and posterior eye diseases, specialty lens fittings, and more!
